It's located in Charlotte City, Quail Hollow North Carolina, southeast of the United States. The course was designed by a renowned course designer George W. Cobb in 1961 and is credited with keeping alive the challenging terrain and outstanding scenery of the Piedmont area. Afterward, several holes were improved by Arnold Palmer in 1986 and redesigned by Tom Fazio in 1997. American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) has also renovated the course to the current status.
