About
The Valderrama golf course was mapped out by the renowned golf course designer Robert Trent Jones in 1974. It was initially named Sotogrande New, but was changed to Vladerrama in 1984 during the redesign and expansion phase. In 1999, Valderrama was ranked as the top course in mainland Europe by the Golf World magazine.
